Although I’ve personally been a fan of Dropbox, the new version of the SkyDrive is great. Recently I tried out SkyDrive and it does seem to get the job done. Once I setup my SkyDrive account it gave me access to upgrade to a free 25GB store instead of the usual 7GB.
While Dropbox does get the job of backing up my data to the cloud, Microsoft services are no less. Today, we found a new feature “Short Links” – the ability to create short links and share them. The online version makes it very simple to create short links for Documents present on the SkyDrive.
To create short links, all we need to do is:
- Right click on the file
- Click on Share
- Click on Get a Link
- Click on Create Button
- Once the link is created, all you have to do is click on the shorten button.
In simply 5 steps, we were able to create, shorten and share our files. We also have the option of using our own custom domain name to shorten links and they support Open Graph. It is therefore a great incentive to use the service.

When some one searches for his necessary thing, thus he/she needs to be available that in detail, thus that thing is
