[Infographic] The Apple iPod turns 10 Years Old Today

October 23rd, 2011 the Apple iPod turns exactly 10 years old. Apple introduced a new revolutionary music device called the iPod in 2001. This first multimedia player was presented and introduced by Steve Jobs and he had compared this revolutionary device to a big as a deck of cards (101 x 61 x 20mm).

The device had a 5 GB hard drive, good for 1000 songs. The battery was 10 hours (the battery of the iPod Classic is now 36 hours). This music player was the one of a kind first products late Steve jobs had unveiled.. Six months after the introduction of iPod, 10GB and 15GB version was announced.
